We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self‑motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant to work as part of the Reaside Clinic Occupational Therapy Department. Reaside is a male medium secure service providing care for service users with challenging behaviours and a range of clinical presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver one‑to‑one interventions and group work with the Occupational Therapy team to promote independence and improve overall emotional wellbeing.
• Support therapeutic interventions in a well‑equipped environment including gym, kitchen, education suite, art room, gardens, woodwork shop, library, and group rooms.
• Collaborate with the forensic community OT team and partnerships to support transitions out into the community.
• Receive regular management supervision and clinical supervision from the Occupational Therapist.
• Participate in training and development in line with discussed development reviews.

Qualifications:

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Good understanding of the role of Occupational Therapy and provision of activities within a mental health setting.
