Service Care Solutions are proud to be working in partnership with a specialist independent school in North Warwickshire to recruit a Speech & Language Therapist to join their on-site multidisciplinary clinical team. The school supports children and young people aged 6–19 with complex needs including developmental trauma, neurodevelopmental conditions and special educational needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a truly integrated therapeutic model where clinical, education and residential teams collaborate to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Responsibilities
Deliver specialist speech and language assessments and evidence-based interventions
Contribute to MDT therapeutic plans in line with EHCP outcomes
Provide individual, group and environmental interventions using creative, engagement-focused approaches
Support staff teams through training, modelling and guidance to promote communication-friendly environments
Work closely with families and external agencies including CAMHS and Social Care
Prepare high-quality clinical reports and maintain accurate records
Support trauma-informed and therapeutic practice across education and residential settings
Requirements
Qualified Speech and Language Therapist registered with the HCPC
Experience supporting children and young people with complex SEND and neurodevelopmental needs
Ability to work within and contribute to a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication, organisation and initiative
Experience supporting teams around a child to create clinically informed environments
