Assistant Service Manager – Community Mental Health Services
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (BSMHFT) as an Assistant Service Manager (ASM) within our community mental health services.
Responsibilities- Operational support of community hubs and day‑to‑day service delivery in line with Trust standards.
- Collaboration with Clinical Team Managers, Therapy Leads and Medical Leads to deliver on Trust priorities and performance standards.
- Monitoring activity and waiting lists, and contributing to workforce planning and recruitment activity.
- Support for service improvement and transformation initiatives, working with HR, Finance, Informatics and governance processes such as risk management, incident reporting and PALS/complaints management.
- Commitment to effective communication, collaborative working and equality, diversity and inclusion.
Strong development opportunity working closely with senior operational managers to build experience across a wide range of operational and leadership responsibilities within a large mental health trust.
