This is an exciting opportunity to join the Children and Families Division to lead the governance Team to ensure high quality care and processes are in place within the services. The post holder will:
- Lead and manage the extensive clinical governance, wider governance and assurance programme across the Children and Families Division, which includes a wide range of projects and work streams relating to risk management, health & safety, patient safety, information governance and the Care Quality Commission Standards of Quality and Safety.
- Lead, plan, support, facilitate and monitor progress of governance projects and has responsibility for the design, development and delivery of associated in-house training.
- Lead on developing and maintaining the Children and Families Division's risk assessments, risk register and incident reporting systems.
- Manage the Children and Families Division complaint systems in line with NHS and Trust legislation, policies and procedures
Governance and Assurance
- Lead and manage the governance programme and framework across the Children and Families Division
- Responsible for the continuing development of risk management within the Children and Families Division according to its needs and the Trust Risk Management Strategy
- The postholder is the Children and Families Division Incident Reporting Co-ordinator
- Lead for managing the internal systems and processes to review, assess and monitor child death and safeguarding cases
Complaint Management
- To manage the Children and Families Division complaint systems in line with NHS and Trust legislation, policies and procedures
Information Governance, Subject Access and Freedom of Information Requests
- To manage the division's compliance with Information Governance legislation and Trust Policies

Person Specification Experience- Experience of working at band 7 in a clinical governance team
