We are seeking a highly qualified, experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of the residential children's care home.
You will lead the home with passion, professionalism and a child-centred approach. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with Ofsted regulations, and the development of a skilled, motivated team.
Duties
Manage the homes daily operations with focus on quality and care
Foster a positive team environment through effective leadership and mentoring
Lead and inspire the care team to deliver exceptional, child-centred care using DDP and PACE
Develop, implement and regularly review individualised care plans for children
Build strong relationships with children, families and external professionals ; also need to be able to liase with them as well as healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care delivery
Oversee medication administration in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including safeguarding protocols, and health & safety regulations
Monitor and maintain accurate documentation relating to resident care, staff rotas, and operational procedures
Carry out Reg 45 Reviews Skills
>2 years experience in a residential children's care home within the past 5 years
Proven experience (>1yr) in a senior leadership role involving the management and supervision of people in a care role
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards this)
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
Exceptional communication skills
Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to develop detailed care plans and prioritise effectively
