This role is self-employed with 35 hours of work per week. The position requires a full driving licence and own transport.

We work with individuals facing homelessness, offering tailored support and connecting them with suitable accommodation. As we grow, we’re looking for a dynamic Housing Referral Officer to help expand our housing network and ensure no one is left behind.
The RoleWe’re seeking a confident and compassionate Housing Referral Officer with a unique blend of support work experience, sales acumen, and strong networking skills. You’ll play a key role in matching service users with appropriate housing & support services.
What We’re Looking For- Support Worker Background:
Experience working with vulnerable individuals or communities, with a strong understanding of housing-related challenges. - Sales:
Proven ability to pitch in a housing, property, or referrals context. - Communication
Skills:
Confident communicator who can build and maintain professional relationships with potential referral sources. - Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organised, people person.
- Identify and build relationships with referral sources such as social workers, hospitals, probation services, and community organisations.
- Promote the organisation’s supported accommodation services to potential referrers.
- Outreach visits to generate new leads.
- Maintain a pipeline of referral opportunities and follow up on leads.
- Work towards monthly referral targets and KPIs, and receive a monthly bonus if targets are met.
- Support the intake process by gathering initial service user information during transport.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys, referrals, and outreach activities.
- Provide feedback to the team on referral trends and opportunities.
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
- Experience in sales or outreach, support and networking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of supported accommodation.
Desirable:
- Experience working with vulnerable adults.
- Knowledge of local authority referral processes.
