We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Locum Ward Pharmacist to join our team in Birmingham. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing exceptional pharmaceutical care in a clinical ward setting. You will be working in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Locum Ward Pharmacist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients on the wards, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care. This includes conducting medication reviews, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications, and providing expert advice on drug therapy. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our pharmacy services. Additionally, you will provide dispensary support as needed, ensuring efficient medication management and patient safety.

Qualifications

and Experience
  • Registered Pharmacist with GPHC
  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in pharmacotherapy
  • Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in a clinical ward setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
  • Experience with dispensary support is desirable
