This is a Transferee Constable role; to be eligible to apply you must already be a substantive Police Officer from a UK Home Office Police Force. West Midlands Police is recruiting experienced and passionate transferees at the rank of Constable and Detective Constable, as well as aspiring transferees working towards Detective status.

• Substantive in the rank of Constable
• Serving (or have served) with a Home Office Force
• PIP 2 accredited, in the process of becoming PIP 2 accredited, or willing to undertake PIP accreditation and related training
• Able to pass the 15 metre JRFT to bleep level 5.4
• Able to provide a fully auditable training record
• Able to pass vetting and medical health and assessment screening
• No outstanding disciplinary or integrity issues
• Flexible and part-time working supported
• Good understanding of the investigation process
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with victims, colleagues and partners
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage risk

  Shift patterns include late shifts and weekends
• Vetting:
