Senior Accountant / Management Accountant – 12-Week Temp Contract

CIMA / ACCA / ACA essential Split: 50% Audit / 50% Management Accounts Start: ASAP We’re seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support a busy finance team during a critical period. This 12-week assignment requires a confident, qualified professional who can deliver across audit, controls, and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities Support the 2025 audit: prepare/review working papers, reconciliations, supporting evidence. Produce accurate monthly management accounts and Q1 reporting. Maintain internal financial controls, ensuring reconciliations and system controls are completed accurately and on time. Lead annual statutory accounts preparation and liaise with internal/external auditors. Manage quarterly forecasting and variance analysis. Oversee daily income reconciliations and investigate issues promptly. Support financial system upgrades, SOP reviews, and financial policy updates.

Assist FP&A and senior finance leadership with budgeting and project work. Provide resilience for senior finance staff, including cover for the Financial Controller. About You Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA (non-negotiable) Strong background in audit and management accounts Excellent understanding of financial controls and statutory reporting Able to work independently and manage competing deadlines
