Senior Compliance Manager – Lending
We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Compliance Manager – Lending.
The Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager will be part of the Regulatory Compliance oversight function for the UK CMB line of business. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and will provide advice and challenge to the CMB line of business in relation to Regulatory Compliance standard, policies and controls specifically related to Global Payments Solutions.
Responsibilities- Take an active approach in identifying and assessing the Regulatory Compliance risks that arise from CMB particularly related to CMB lending.
- Work closely with Senior Management to challenge the first line of defence when Regulatory Compliance risks arise from CMB lending activity.
- Review, interpret and support embedding of policies, procedures and change activity from a compliance point of view.
- Be the first point of contact to the CMB lending business on matters related to Regulatory Compliance.
- Interpret and work with the business to embed and ensure adherence to policies.
- Strong knowledge and experience of risk management and an understanding of Regulatory Compliance risks.
- Working knowledge and experience of the CMB business from 1st, 2nd or 3rd line of defence.
- A strong working knowledge of the current regulatory landscape with a proactive approach to overseeing changes in the regulatory landscapes.
- Proven ability to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders and wider teams particularly around business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with thorough attention to detail.
