Portfolio Manager

My client is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to drive transparency, discipline and strategic alignment across a complex, enterprise-wide change portfolio.

This is a high‑visibility role operating at the intersection of business, technology, finance and risk.

As Portfolio Manager within the Group PMO, you will oversee delivery across a multi‑project portfolio, ensuring robust governance, financial control, risk management and executive‑level transparency.

We are seeking a Senior Portfolio professional with experience operating within complex, regulated financial services environments.

• Significant Portfolio Management experience within Financial Services or Insurance
• Proven experience operating across multi‑project or enterprise portfolios
• Strong exposure to governance frameworks, audit readiness and risk & control environments
• Experience facilitating executive governance forums and engaging senior stakeholders
• Experience supporting or leading portfolio prioritisation and capacity trade‑offs
• Strong financial oversight experience including forecasting, tracking actuals and budget alignment
• Familiarity with change and delivery methodologies

• PPM tools (ideally Planview or similar)
• JIRA, Confluence
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting
• Experience producing enterprise dashboards and management information

• You bring discipline and structure to complex change environments
• You are comfortable challenging senior stakeholders where prioritisation or risk requires escalation
• You can translate ambiguity into structured governance and actionable insight
• You understand the mechanics of portfolio capacity and financial control
• You are confident operating in regulated environments with high scrutiny
