Salary: £27k-£35k DOE
Hours: Office based Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for min 6 months training, then can do hybrid
Benefits: 23 days holidays + Bank holidays, birthday off, Christmas shut down off as extra (additional 5 days), day Christmas shopping, free parking, pension
Aspire Jobs are working exclusively with our professional services client who are growing. As part of their growth, they now need an experienced Legal Cashier or Accounts Assistant to join their team.
The successful Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant will:- Have previous accounts experience ideally from within the legal field but this is not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Purchase ledger experience
- Bank reconciliations experience
- Good IT experience, including accounts packages and Excel
- Processing incoming and outgoing payments for all client and office accounts
- Invoicing clients
- Maintaining client ledgers
- Answering queries from clients and staff
- Preparing client statements
- Conveyancing completions
- Billing
- Purchase ledger
- Internal account transfers
- Bank reconciliations
- Filing
- Compliance administration
