Job Description Client Administrator – Investment Management

We’re seeking an ambitious individual to join our Investment Management team in Birmingham on a fixed‑term contract (6 months) with potential of being extended. You will be responsible for providing full administrative support to Investment Managers and building relationships with clients to deliver a positive and sleek client experience.

As a Client Administrator you will be supported to grow personally and professionally, with access to a structured training programme offering training & competency oversight to excel your personal development. We encourage continuous professional development via ongoing studying and qualifications, and we also have a team of experienced Investment Managers from whom you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate and learn.

What’s in it for you

This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to be in the office three days per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with aligned Investment Managers and Associate Investment Managers to deliver excellent client outcomes.
  • Build relationships with clients and maintain regular contact.
  • Liaise with operational teams for activities such as account opening, ISAs, transfers, client payments, and static data changes where applicable.
  • Prepare meeting packs and valuations as required.
  • Assist investment managers in the preparation of new business pitches and presentations where applicable.
  • Maintain back‑office systems and client records in line with company policies.
Qualifications Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you should:

  • Have prior experience working within Financial Services.
  • Hold technical administrative experience.
  • Have experience supporting clients’ queries and assisting through processes.
  • Have strong communication skills with an ability to build relationships.
  • Have knowledge of financial products such as ISAs, GIAs, pensions, investments, SIPPs.
