Private Client Tax Senior

A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Basingstoke, Hampshire is looking to recruit a Personal Tax Senior to support the ongoing growth of its private client team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded independent practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory services.

The firm advises a diverse private client portfolio, including HNWI’s, OMB’s, company directors, entrepreneurs, and UK and non-UK domiciled individuals. You will join a friendly, technically capable team in a collaborative and supportive environment, where long term client relationships and tailored tax advice are central to the firm’s approach.

Key Responsibilities As a Personal Tax Senior, you will manage your own portfolio of private clients and provide a blend of compliance and advisory services, including:
Managing all aspects of personal tax compliance for individuals, directors, partnerships and non-resident clients Providing tailored tax advice across areas such as CGT, IHT, residence and domicile, trusts and share schemes Assisting with ad-hoc and project based advisory work Supporting business development activities and maintaining strong client relationships Supervising and mentoring junior team members and contributing to team development Requirements ATT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA qualified.

CTA qualification or studies advantageous Strong personal tax experience gained within a practice environment (Top 50, mid-tier or independent firm) Good technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory matters Ability to manage a client portfolio independently while supporting wider advisory work Genuine interest in private client tax and long-term career development in this area Benefits Salary of £38,000 - £48,000, depending on experience and qualifications 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays Study support for CTA, ACA or ACCA where applicable Flexible working arrangements Excellent benefits package and clear long term career progression Supportive team culture with ongoing training and development Please contact Joe Potter on (tel), (mob), , or via Linked In for a confidential conversation.
