About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join a dynamic and forward‑thinking financial planning team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality technical and administrative support to Financial Planners, helping to deliver exceptional service and advice to clients.

This role plays a key part in ensuring clients receive comprehensive, compliant, and well‑presented financial planning solutions. You'll also have the chance to be involved in client meetings, contribute to cash‑flow planning, and support complex technical discussions.

• Prepare detailed and compliant suitability reports across a variety of advice areas, products, and investment solutions
• Conduct technical research and maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of financial products, legislation, and market developments
• Ensure all client files and Know Your Client (KYC) information are accurate and demonstrate suitability of advice
• Collaborate closely with Financial Planners to deliver a seamless client experience and meet agreed timescales
• Attend client meetings when required to assist with cash‑flow modelling and technical discussions
• Maintain compliance with FCA guidelines and company processes at all times

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (CII) or equivalent qualification (essential)
• Strong technical understanding of financial planning principles and products
• Proven experience in a Paraplanning role within a financial planning or wealth management environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly
• Thorough knowledge of FCA COBS suitability requirements
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
