We are seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Controller to oversee and manage all financial activities within the manufacturing sector. This role requires a strong background in accounting and finance to ensure the company's financial health and compliance.

We are a well‑established medium‑size manufacturing enterprise known for operational excellence and innovation.

• Day‑to‑day management of the finance team including controls, processes and reporting
• Deliver reliable cash flow forecasts
• Treasury management, including foreign exchange and covenant reporting
• Deliver the monthly management accounts on time and in full, including analysis of result versus budget, prior year, balance‑sheet items and cash‑flow movements
• Prepare budgets and forecasts
• Ensure processes capture R&D tax credits on an ongoing basis
• Ensure smooth completion of statutory accounts, audits and tax computations
• Contribute to development of financial reporting and IT systems
• Manage the company’s insurance requirements
• Ensure compliance with corporate and local standards, regulations and guidelines

• Professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Experience with in the manufacturing sector
• Proven ability to lead and develop a finance team effectively
• Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Capability to communicate financial insights clearly to stakeholders
