AboutThe Role
- Apply technical expertise to solve problems and advise clients on accounting, structuring, and capital markets.
- Work across key delivery areas:
Structuring & Accounting Advisory, CMAS Digital, Deal Advisory. - Collaborate with senior stakeholders across industry sectors (energy, technology, financial services, retail/consumer) in the UK and worldwide.
- Work in small, flat‑structured teams, partnering with partners and directors while managing and coaching junior colleagues.
- Advise on a variety of engagements from accounting, structuring, and capital‑markets perspectives in transaction and non‑transaction scenarios.
- Deliver innovative reports and presentations covering complex accounting, legal, and regulatory issues.
- Coordinate input from PwC teams across different lines of service and territories.
- Design solutions to structure key transactions to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with senior management teams, bankers, lawyers, and other advisers internationally.
- Drive business growth by targeting opportunities, building networks, and identifying client opportunities.
- Experience with IFRS (and preferably UK GAAP).
- Must possess an ACA qualification (or an equivalent international qualification).
- Keen interest in transactions and transformation.
- Strong problem‑solving and logical thinking skills.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new skills in unfamiliar industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to prepare high‑quality reports such as accounting memorandums and technical analyses.
- Good project‑management skills and ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
