This forward-thinking accountancy and advisory firm is expanding its national VAT offering and is now looking for a VAT Manager to join the team. You’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio, lead client relationships, support junior team members, and deliver clear, practical VAT advice that clients genuinely value.

• Managing your own VAT client portfolio across a wide range of sectors
• Leading on technical delivery and advisory assignments, including investigations, land and property, cross-border VAT, and complex transactions
• Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing work from junior team members
• Contributing to workflow planning and team targets
• Collaborating with colleagues nationally to stay sharp and support wider client needs

• CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Strong understanding of UK VAT with some exposure to ROW and international issues
• Experience managing client relationships and mentoring junior staff
• Calm, confident communication style and a solutions-led mindset
• A proactive approach to client service and team development
