Overview
We are exclusively partnering the UK division of a global Plc business that due to internal progression is looking to secure an experienced focused, energetic Financial Controller to lead a small team in financial and management reporting. You will provide a strong and positive contribution to all areas of business through accurate reporting and identification of areas to improve the efficiency of the companies processes and profitability.

Responsibilities- Ensure effective delivery of financial accounts, statutory reports and efficient ledgers through your established team.
- Overseeing month-end processes.
- Taking ownership of the cashflow reporting and forecasting process.
- Report liquidity positions and process intercompany funding and hedging.
- Reporting and filing of business taxes, resolving tax issues as they arise.
- Work closely with all departments ensuring system processes are followed in a profit efficient manner.
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and other ad hoc financial reports.
- Manage the audit process in line with the requirements of the business and form a working relationship with the company's auditors.
- Identify tax opportunities and risks.
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in a similar role
- Analytically minded
- Ability to influence at all levels and build cooperative relationships
- The motivation and ambition to drive innovative thinking
- Previous team management/development experience
- Flexible and adaptable in their approach
- Good understanding of IT systems (SAP is beneficial) and strong Excel knowledge
