RoleA leading national insolvency and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to Manager to join its Birmingham office
. This is an exciting opportunity to progress your career within a highly regarded corporate insolvency practice, working on a varied portfolio of high-quality cases while contributing to a growing and ambitious team.
The Role:
You will take ownership of a portfolio of corporate insolvency assignments
, including:
- Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations (CVLs) – core focus
- Administrations
- Members’ Voluntary Liquidations (MVLs) – occasional
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading insolvency cases from appointment to conclusion, ensuring statutory compliance and best practice
- Preparing reports, statutory documentation, and case notes for directors, creditors, and other stakeholders
- Managing communications and relationships with directors, creditors, shareholders, and third parties
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior team members to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Supporting continuous improvement within the insolvency team and broader practice
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Solid experience in corporate insolvency
- Strong technical knowledge across corporate insolvency processes
- Proven people management experience
, including mentoring and managing junior staff - Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases
- Confident and professional communication with directors, creditors, and stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
