Our client is a well-established and expanding Corporate Finance boutique currently experiencing a period of significant growth. As part of their continued success, they are seeking an ambitious Corporate Finance Associate to join their Birmingham team.

The firm is looking for recently qualified ACA/ACCA accountants or those with some post-qualification experience who are eager to build their career in Corporate Finance. You’ll work closely within a collaborative, entrepreneurial team and play a key role in a variety of lead advisory transactions, including:

• Management Buyouts (MBOs) and Buy-ins (MBIs)
• Acquisitions and disposals
• Strategic advisory projects

While the majority of clients are UK-based, there will also be opportunities to work on international transactions through the firm’s strong global network of partner boutiques and investment banks.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing commercial analyses and business plans for presentation to financial institutions and acquisitive clients
• Developing financial models to support transactions
• Drafting information memoranda and pitch presentations
• Assisting with business development and client relationship activities

About you:

• ACA/ACCA qualified, with a strong academic background
• Excellent communication skills and high levels of integrity
• Commercially astute with solid technical accounting knowledge
• Previous lead advisory experience is not essential; candidates from Audit or Transaction Services backgrounds with strong commercial awareness are encouraged to apply
