Group Reporting Accountant – Birmingham

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + benefits

A growing, forward‑thinking business in Birmingham is looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join its high‑performing finance team. This role suits someone with strong technical accounting skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to work across multiple stakeholders in a complex group environment.

You’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely group financial reporting and supporting the business through continued growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated accounts
• Supporting statutory reporting and liaising with external auditors
• Ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal reporting standards
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and group‑wide financial analysis
• Improving reporting processes and supporting system enhancements
• Providing technical accounting guidance to finance teams across the group

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation
• Experience in a multi‑entity or complex group environment
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders
• Proactive, detail‑driven, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
