Finance Business Partner (Central Services)

Contract type: Permanent |
Working hours: 37 hours per week
Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner, this critical role business‑partners with senior leaders across the organisation.
- Manage cost bases for Existing Properties Investment and company‑wide projects.
- First point of contact in Finance for many Executives and Senior Leadership teams.
- Monitor cost improvement and efficiency plans, highlight risks and support alternative solutions.
- Ensure financial decisions align with long‑term strategic aims and drive continuous business improvement.
- Build financial models for all business cases, setting clear costs and expected outcomes before investment approval.
- Provide concise, actionable financial advice monthly to business area leadership and executives.
- Own forecasting, ensuring projections have strong commercial rationale and are activity‑driven where possible.
GD: DBS check required if offered.
About you- Experienced Finance Business Partner (or similar discipline such as Strategy or Management Reporting) with a proven record of adding organisational value.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ACA) with substantial commercial post‑qualified experience.
- Deep understanding of strategic business goals, customer value, capital expenditure and wider business context.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills; ability to collaborate across all levels.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking; ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills and robust financial modelling capabilities.
- Initiative‑taking, results‑oriented and able to thrive in a complex environment.
Evidence of required certificates and qualifications must be provided prior to employment.
