Mid-Market Senior Underwriter – Salary is Competitive

• Servicing brokers and underwriting new business.
• Aligning to a portfolio of brokers/customers to proactively develop and profitably grow their commercial book of business.
• Partnering with brokers and customers to understand their wants and needs, using data insight to provide whole customer solutions.
• Handling complex cases including referrals and reviewing team/book performance, linking with leaders on strategy.
• Going out on broker visits across the West Midlands – requires flexible travel.

• Previous property & liability and/or multiclass underwriting experience.
• Ability to analyse risks and communicate/present effectively to brokers and/or customers.
• Collaborative work within a large complex organisation.
• Good knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation.
• Strong commercial business acumen to create and deliver business cases.
