Director Accountancy & Finance @ Alexander Daniels

Location: Wolverhampton, Hybrid (2 days office / 3 days home)

Travel: Approx. 10% across Europe (Germany, Poland, Nordics)

Join a market leading organisation as an FP&A Global Business Partner – Industrial and become the trusted finance advisor to our EVP of Sales for Industrial Europe. This is your opportunity to shape decisions that drive growth, from pricing and product launches to capital investments and market expansion.

What You’ll Do
  • Act as the single point of contact for financial insight and decision support for the EVP of Sales.
  • Deliver monthly performance commentaries and executive packs with clear, actionable insights.
  • Lead the annual business plan, strategic plan, and rolling forecasts for EU Industrial, aligned with Global HQ timelines.
  • Build financial models and business cases for new products, capex, acquisitions, and geographic expansion.
  • Support integration with Solenis by leveraging Tableau and One Stream reporting suites.
  • Continuously improve forecasting templates and management reporting standards.
What is my client looking for?
  • CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with a degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
  • Proven FP&A experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and ability to simplify complex data for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Oracle, Tableau, One Stream is a plus.
  • Commercial mindset with understanding of sales drivers and margin levers.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
