OHL CAD Technician

OHL CAD Technician | 6 Month Contract | 1x Per week in Birmingham Office

We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Technician with Overhead Line (OHL) experience to support a range of ongoing power transmission projects. This is a 6-month contract position working within a project delivery environment on multiple infrastructure schemes.

The role will involve producing and updating CAD drawings for overhead line works while supporting engineering and construction teams across various project phases.

• Produce and update CAD drawings for OHL transmission projects
• Support engineering teams with technical drafting and drawing updates
• Ensure drawings align with project specifications and construction requirements
• Work across multiple concurrent infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to maintain accurate design documentation

• Proven experience working as a CAD Technician within OHL / power transmission projects
• Background working with construction contractors or EPC environments
