You’ll split your time between site and office, developing strong technical foundations while building confidence managing ground investigations.

You’ll be involved in:

• Supervising drilling rigs and trial pits
• Logging soil and rock to British Standards
• Sampling and groundwater/gas monitoring
• Coordinating laboratory testing
• Preparing factual reports
• Supporting interpretative reporting with senior engineers

You’ll gradually take on more responsibility as your experience grows.

• BSc or MSc in Geology, Engineering Geology or similar
• Up to 1 year of relevant industry experience (placements count)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong attention to detail
