Technical Quantity Surveyor - Aluminium Systems

My client are a leading aluminium systems house supplying window, door and curtain walling solutions to fabricators and commercial projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Technical Quantity Surveyor to support their commercial and technical teams.

This role is ideal for someone early in their QS career (around 2-4 years' experience) who has exposure to aluminium systems, façade packages, or specialist subcontracting.

• Support pricing and commercial review of aluminium window, door and curtain wall systems
• Review drawings, schedules and specifications to assist with take-offs and cost analysis
• Assist with tender preparation and technical-commercial submissions
• Support contract administration, variations and cost tracking
• Work closely with estimating, technical and sales teams to ensure commercial accuracy
• Help identify commercial risks and value engineering opportunities

• 2-4 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or commercial role
• Experience with in aluminium systems, glazing, façades or building envelope preferred
• Ability to read architectural drawings
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Commercially aware with a proactive, team-focused attitude
• Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying or Construction (or working towards)
