Senior Civil Engineer – Birmingham

Our client are a Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy who also cover Geotechnical, Transport Planning and Planning Support. They deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, offices, education, health, retail and leisure.

They are now looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to grow their expanding team in their Birmingham office.

• Manage appropriate projects with full liaison with clients and third parties
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Technicians and senior team in scheme delivery
• Manage risks within your responsibilities at a Health and Safety and commercial level
• Take technical ownership of the production of drawings, calculations, reports and design documents
• Oversee other Engineers and Technicians work
• Review / prepare project briefs and fee proposals to appropriately allocate resources for delivery with scope of agreed works
• Analyse technical problems, assessing the feasibility of proposed techniques and procedures and devising new approaches and alternative solutions

• 10+ years experience working within Civil Engineering within a UK Consultancy
• Degree level qualification within Civil Engineering or similar
• Chartership with ICE or IStruct
