Location:
Central Birmingham (Hybrid – 3 days office/site, 2 days home)
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 + Car Allowance + Leading Benefits Package

We are partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor and supporting them with their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a landmark infrastructure scheme in Central Birmingham. This is a career‑defining role offering exposure to a complex, high‑value and high‑profile project, and excellent work‑life balance and a structured career path to Managing QS level and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- NEC4 Contract Administration
- Leading CVRs, cost forecasting, and budget management
- Leading the tender process and managing high‑value sub‑contractor accounts
- Identifying commercial risks and implementing value engineering opportunities
- Mentoring and developing a team of Assistant and Project Quantity Surveyors
- A proven track record as a QS or Senior QS within Heavy Civils, Infrastructure, or Utilities
- Deep familiarity with NEC3 or NEC4 contracts is essential
- Based within a commutable distance of Central Birmingham, Coventry or Lichfield
- A desire to lead teams and drive commercial excellence on complex builds
- Starting salary of £60,000 – £75,000
- £5,000 car allowance or premium electric/hybrid company car
- 25‑26 days + Bank Holidays (option to buy 5 additional days)
