My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team based in the Birmingham on a permanent basis.
The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:- At least 2 years’ relevant experience as a Mechanical Engineer or related position
- Experienced around automation/material handling
- Have a confident technical skillset with a Mechanical Engineering qualification
- Experience with welding would be an advantage
- Have an excellent work ethic and positive attitude
- Be a team player
- Supporting/overseeing the Projects and Service team
- Dealing with customers on a technical level
- Working to budgets and project timings
- Investigating new product lines and areas within which the company can expand
- Being involved in different manufacturing processes
- Ensuring projects are delivered correctly and efficiently
- Keeping track of company documentation, equipment and necessary upgrades
