CAD Technician (Highway Design) £30,000 - £35,000
Birmingham, West Midlands

We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in Birmingham who are looking to recruit a CAD Technician focused on Highway Design, to support the deliver of highway and transport infrastructure projects across both the public and private sectors.

• Assisting in the design and delivery of highway schemes to local and national standards
• Producing drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentation
• Supporting senior engineers with project delivery, including programme and financial reporting
• Preparing reports, schedules and cost estimates
• Working collaboratively with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders
• Managing assigned tasks to agreed budgets and deadlines

• Previous experience in a highway or transport engineering environment
• Strong working knowledge of CAD software
• Familiarity with UK highway standards and design processes
• Organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple tasks
  
  A team player with good communication skills

• Salary circa £30,000 – £35,000
