Metrology Engineer

You may already be a METROLOGY ENGINEER looking for a fresh challenge, within a highly prestigious organisation, or looking for a role where you can further your career into a Lead position.

Commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Henley-in-Arden, Redditch, Studley, Stratford-upon-Avon, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Moseley, Halesowen and Curdworth

• Creating CMM programs
• Evaluate measurement data
• Creating measurement programs for CMM with or without CAD model
• Drawing up initial sample test reports as per the VDA and PPAP template
• Implementing all measurement equipment
• Calibration of gauges
• Re-qualification inspections
• SPC

• It is essential that you have relevant CMM Programming experience
• Ideally PC-DMIS
• To have gained your experience from within a manufacturing environment
• Good working knowledge of PPAP’s and SPC
• Good level of IT Literacy

This role will suit an energetic, and ambitious Metrology Engineer, who is looking to step up the next level and ideally lead the Metrology Department at a later date
