Birmingham (office-based for first 6 months)**##
** What you will do
** As a Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high‑quality fire suppression system designs across regional projects. You will join our Fire Suppression Design Team based in
** Birmingham**.  To ensure full training, onboarding, and support, the role will be
** office‑based for the first 6 months**. After this period,
** hybrid working
** will be available subject to performance and agreement with your Design Manager.

You will also attend occasional UK site visits for surveys, progress reviews, drawing mark-ups, and client design meetings.##

** How you will do it*
* • Interpret and develop customer design requirements  
• Ensure design schedules support approval, fabrication, and construction deadlines  
• Work closely with sales and contract managers on specifications, installation requirements, and bracketing  
• Complete Design Risk Assessments  
• Maintain regular, clear communication with clients  
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover from sales through to completion##
** What we look for

* Required:

*** Minimum
** 2 years’ experience with sprinkler/fire suppression systems**
* ** AutoCAD
* ** Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications
* Strong communication and IT skills
** Preferred:*
