Transportation Project Engineer

Design the roads and infrastructure that shape communities. As a Transportation Project Engineer with our client, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-impact roadway and transportation projects across Alabama. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful public and private infrastructure initiatives while collaborating with a forward-thinking engineering team in downtown Birmingham.

• Tier III Engineer (Certs required): 115k/yr

• Design roadway and transportation projects using Bentley tools
• Prepare construction documents, plans, maps, and cross-sections
• Support drainage, traffic control, and infrastructure improvements
• Collaborate with senior engineers on technical direction and QA/QC
• Review field data, surveys, and engineering drawings
• Assist with reports, specifications, and permitting submittals
• Contribute to the delivery of public and private transportation projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer Intern (E.I./E.I.T.) certification; P.E. preferred or in progress
• Proficiency in Bentley Open Roads Designer
• Experience with Bentley Power In Roads
• Background in roadway/transportation design
