Salary: 50,000 – 65,000 + Annual Bonus
The OpportunityWe are seeking Senior Mechanical Engineers to join our Energy, Water and Resources portfolio, supporting the delivery of high–impact projects that benefit society, industry and the environment.
You'll work as part of multidisciplinary teams on a diverse range of schemes, including:
- Water and wastewater treatment and supply
- Dams, reservoirs and flood risk infrastructure
- Renewable energy and low–carbon systems
- Hydrogen production and energy storage
- Industrial process and complex pipework systems
You'll be encouraged to develop specialist skills in the areas that genuinely interest you, shaping a career path aligned with your passions and strengths.
ResponsibilitiesIs this role right for you?
We're looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers with a strong background in the water sector, operating at a senior level with 5+ years' industry experience.
- Proven experience delivering mechanical design within water, energy or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment selection and application
- Experience across feasibility and detailed design, particularly in water and energy systems
- Solid knowledge of piping design standards, safety systems and industrial pipework
- Competence in relevant design tools and software (e.g. BIM, Plant 3D, AutoPIPE or similar)
- Experience in utility infrastructure (e.g. gas networks) is beneficial
- Chartered status (or working towards) through IMechE or a relevant professional body
