Overview

Due to continued nationwide growth, a UK-based company is looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join our team based in the Birmingham area. You will be responsible for producing accurate estimates for planned projects, repairs, and installations. Working closely with engineers, schedulers, customers, and management teams to ensure quotations are prepared efficiently and to operational, technical, and contractual requirements. The role offers a basic salary of up to 50,000, along with a company car, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, sick pay, and additional benefits.

• Preparing accurate estimates and quotations, ensuring they meet the company pricing structures and customer specifications, ideally within the engineering sector including entrance systems.
• Reviewing engineer reports, surveys, and technical drawings to produce clear, competitive, and profitable quotations.
• Becoming the engineers and teams' first point of call, providing updates and maintaining clarity from start to finish.
• Communicating with the team to ensure quotations meet customers  needs.
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports to support the Manager with informed decisions.
• Regularly reviewing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Estimator experience in a technical engineering sector
• A strong admin background
• Ability to analyse and interpret data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to deliver work with a high level of accuracy
• Strong organisational skills

• A salary of up to 50,000 per annum, depending on experience
