Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Technical Coordinator with strong experience in residential house building You will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment As our Technical Coordinator, you will support the technical team within this standalone business unit, coordinating architectural and engineering matters on site-based projects from initial site commencement through to completion, handover, and final close-out.
You will play an integral role in helping this division grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Reviewing and interpreting technical information to support the preparation of Pre-Development Programmes.
Instructing and managing external consultants in the preparation and delivery of production information within agreed scope, fee, and programme.
Ensuring all technical information is high quality, value engineered, and sufficient to obtain necessary approvals while minimising risk and facilitating efficient site starts.
Managing the production, control, and issue of working drawings and all associated technical information to relevant parties.
Overseeing statutory submissions including sewer connections, Section Agreements, and other regulatory requirements.
Submitting and managing NHBC, Building Regulation applications, and discharge of planning conditions.
Maintaining records of professional fees budgets on a monthly basis to support financial reporting.
Arranging and attending progress meetings pre and post-development and conducting regular site visits to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.
Supporting subcontractor procurement and working closely with the Commercial team to ensure tight cost control.
The ideal candidate will have:
A relevant HNC/HND (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience.
Strong technical knowledge of construction practices and industry standards.
A solid understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and associated legislation.
Excellent communication, organisation, and project management skills.
The ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
A full UK driving licence.
