Up to £46,000 + Benefits | West Midlands

An established UKAS-accredited Asbestos Consultancy is seeking a Principal Asbestos Consultant to support continued growth across the Midlands. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Asbestos Consultant looking to step into a leadership-focused role within a respected asbestos management and compliance business.

As Principal, Asbestos Consultant, you’ll take the lead on complex asbestos projects while supporting regional performance and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

* Overseeing asbestos projects from initial instruction through to final delivery

* Making sure contracts are running smoothly and meeting agreed standards

* Reviewing and signing off reports before they go out to clients

* Being a main point of contact for key accounts and long-term frameworks

* Supporting and guiding Surveyors and Analysts within the team

* Ensuring all work aligns with UKAS procedures and current legislation

* Keeping an eye on project timelines, resources and overall performance

The successful Principal Asbestos Consultant will have:

* BOHS P402, P403 & P404, M504 or P405 certifications

* Minimum 10 years’ experience within a UKAS-accredited asbestos consultancy

* Strong background in asbestos surveying and asbestos analytical services

* Experience managing asbestos frameworks and multi-site projects

* Excellent knowledge of UK asbestos legislation and HSE guidance

* Full UK driving licence

* CoCA (Certificate of Competence in Asbestos) desirable.
