About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations across multiple projects within the Birmingham and wider West Midlands area. This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for team management, project delivery, and maintaining high engineering and safety standards.

You will act as the key link between engineers, clients, and senior management, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, manage, and develop a team of engineers and supervisors

* Oversee engineering projects from planning through to completion

* Manage resources, workloads, and project timelines

* Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with industry standards

* Act as the main point of contact for clients and key stakeholders

* Monitor budgets, costs, and performance against KPIs

* Identify risks and resolve technical or operational issues

* Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management

Requirements

* Previous experience in an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering role

* Strong technical background within an engineering discipline

* Proven people management and leadership experience

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Sound knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements

* Full UK driving licence
