Role Summary

Due to continued business growth, we are currently recruiting for enthusiastic and committed Senior/Principal Surveyors to join our Monitoring Division within our HS2 Department based out of Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in surveying, looking to work on a high-profile project within the expeditious Geospatial industry.

Job Specification Key Accountabilities and Associated Duties
  • Manage projects on site and lead monitoring installations
  • Deliver instructions on a broad range of surveys and disciplines to survey teams
  • Act as a client-facing representative, attending meetings and liaising directly with clients to understand requirements and ensure instructions are delivered on time and to the highest standard
  • Provide line management responsibility for a small team, supporting performance, development, and day-to-day operations
  • Build your own connections both externally and within the business in order to widen the team’s client and knowledge bases
  • Work as part of a team to support junior and senior colleagues
  • Operate effectively in office- and site-based environments, maintaining high standards while working under pressure
Role Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of survey experience (monitoring experience is highly desirable)
  • Experience working on large infrastructure projects is advantageous
  • Relevant Surveying degree/qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience Strong knowledge of the UK construction industry (ideally in surveying and monitoring)
  • Previous line management or supervisory experience is desirable
  • Experience in working to high safety standards
  • Strong technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • The right to work in the UK
