Estimators – Infrastructure – Midlands

Owing to continued demand and our ambitious plans for growth, Turner & Townsend is looking to recruit Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience across the Infrastructure sector (Rail, Highways, Power, Marine, Water or Utilities). The role is based in the Midlands region, supporting a wide range of major programmes and portfolios of work from our Birmingham and Nottingham offices.

Estimators will support clients as embedded resources or provide ad‑hoc work across the Infrastructure sector through the Turner & Townsend Estimating Hub, working remotely (within the region) when required.

• Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects in a timely and efficient manner.
• Control and manage the estimating process at the project level.
• Prepare estimates independently without management or supervision.
• Assist with the gathering and sharing of estimating data.
• Support the development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.
• Aid in the achievement of departmental objectives.
• Stay abreast of developments within own technical area of expertise to provide best‑practice advice aligned with business objectives.

• Qualified to a high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
• Successful experience of providing estimating and/or QS services in a large project environment.
• Previous experience with estimating software packages.
• Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards it.
• Desirable: membership of RICS, CIOB or other relevant bodies.
