Multi-Skilled, Mobile Engineer

Role

• Multi-skilled approach to engineering with each hospital site having 1-2 Static Building Engineers – supported by small teams of Mobile Building Engineers (East and West areas)
• Engineering Team are supported by a FM contract which provides a Helpdesk service. Reactive jobs are processed via a PDA to Building Engineers
• Mobile Building Engineers are required to provide support across reactive and PPM; electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating / air ventilation and building tasks for numerous Primary and Secondary Care facilities

• To ensure all teams PPM and repairs are carried out as necessary in line with Contract SLA
• Required to safely operate and maintain the HVAC, HV, L8, Mechanical and Electrical systems and associated equipment on site
• Maintain a good working relationship with site representatives
• Responsible for reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Responsible for viewing and issuing Permits to Work
• Adhere to Safe systems of work, this includes harness, lanyards, steps and tool checks
• Ensuring all E-logbooks are being kept up to date
• Ordering of parts for any reactive or planned works
