We are looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to shape the future of sustainable energy delivery across a diverse portfolio of public and commercial projects.

The Design department develops innovative mechanical and electrical service solutions tailored to each project. Working closely with clients, project teams and BIM, we transform concepts into build‑ready technical designs that meet regulatory, client and sustainability requirements.

As a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer based at our Birmingham office, you will take ownership of mechanical designs from concept through commissioning, working with fabrication, project management and commissioning teams. You will also mentor junior engineers and help shape best practice within the team.

• Managing the design delivery for decarbonising commercial projects.
• Delivering mechanical designs including schematics, calculations, plant selections, bills of materials and project specifications.
• Developing and validating BMS control strategies, from design to on‑site verification.
