Maintenance Engineer

Electronics & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required to join an established sheet metal manufacturing company, based in Kings Norton, supporting operations across three local sites within a 10‑mile radius. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment across multiple sites. Working within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, the role involves preventative and reactive maintenance, fault‑finding and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Successful candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer, will possess mechanical and electrical problem‑solving skills, be IT literate, have high attention to detail and be able to work under pressure and effectively alone or as part of a team. The role of Maintenance Engineer is offered as a permanent contract with overtime and immediate start available. Maintenance Engineer key duties:

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across a wide range of production equipment, including presses, welders, CNC machinery, robotics and facilities systems
• Oversee general facilities maintenance across all three sites, including utilities, building systems and workshop safety equipment
