Mechanical Craftsperson - Birmingham (Selly Oak)
We are recruiting a Mechanical Craftsperson to carry out maintenance across the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) estate.
Working HoursMonday - Friday, between 7am - 7pm (Shift patterns: 8am-4pm or 11am-7pm)
Pay Rate£16.38 - £19.30
LocationMainly Acute Hospital, with some work across Mental Health and Retained Estate sites.
Key Duties- Deliver planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
- Work across mechanical systems including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, calorifiers and plant equipment
- Ensure compliance with HTM standards, H&S and Equans KPIs
- Complete jobs and update records using CAFM/Maximo systems
- Support site operations and respond to maintenance issues as required
- City & Guilds (or equivalent) Mechanical qualifications
- Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent training
- Experience with in healthcare or critical environments preferred
- Strong understanding of building services mechanical systems
