Assistant Geospatial Surveyor – Ridge and Partners LLP

Due to continued growth, the Geospatial department is looking for an Assistant Geospatial Surveyor, with drive and determination, to join the team in our multidisciplinary consultancy office in Birmingham (Solihull). The individual will adopt a flexible approach to their role, provide support to our teams across the UK as workload dictates and ensure the quality of data is delivered to meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surveyors with data capture using the latest robotic total station and GNSS technology.
  • Assist in the delivery of projects to create 2D/3D topographical surveys using N4ce software.
  • Work with specialist laser scanning equipment including Leica RTC
    360, Nav Vis VLX/MLX and Leica BLK
    360.
  • Analyse data using plans, maps, charts and software such as AutoCAD, Reg
    360 and N4ce.
  • Prepare 2D and 3D survey drawings and models using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Prepare and write reports.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Experience using survey equipment (total stations, laser scanners, etc.).
  • Experience using AutoCAD is essential.
  • Knowledge of Cyclone is advantageous but not essential.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Full clean driving license is required.
  • Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team.
