Opportunity

We’re looking for Graduate Transport Planners to join our team across several UK offices. As part of our transport planning team, you will help to provide expert guidance, make recommendations, and help to identify solutions tailored to a client’s or project’s specific needs. It involves understanding the bigger picture, listening to stakeholders, analysing data, and providing informed advice to help make better decisions.

You’ll help us to deliver exciting and interesting projects for a range of varied and high‑profile clients. While you’ll have a great deal of opportunity from day one, we’ll give you the chance to take on more responsibility as you progress and broaden your skills with guidance and support throughout.

Typical day‑to‑day responsibilities may include: preparing reports on technical analysis and findings; undertaking numerical analysis; understanding various computer software tools ranging from Microsoft Excel through to specific modelling packages; working on technical, research and strategy reports; solving technical problems and providing innovative solutions as your level of experience develops; and undertaking site visits as required.

Qualifications, Attributes & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in subjects relating to Civil or other Engineering, Geography, Planning, Economics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, Data/Computer Science, with a prediction of 2:1 or higher or;
  • Data analytics or Transport Planning‑based Master’s degree or other relevant topic with a prediction of Pass or above is advantageous;
  • Enthusiasm for a career in Analysis and Planning, underpinned through a knowledge and understanding of our sector and work;
  • A planned and organised approach to work and meeting deadlines.
