Legionella Risk Assessor – West Midlands

We are seeking a driven, dependable, and flexible Legionella Risk Assessor to join our Water Hygiene team in the West Midlands region, covering Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Telford, and surrounding areas.

The role involves travelling within the region and undertaking risk assessments, written scheme audits, and internal quality checks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Legionella risk assessment of water systems
• Audits of management and planned preventative monitoring regimes
• General water hygiene tasks (water outlet flushing, temperature checks, sampling)

To be successful you should be able to demonstrate:

• City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment
• Working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG
  274 and BS:8580
• Understanding of complex water systems (water softeners, vehicle washes, industrial processes)
• Understanding of written scheme of control audits
• Strong communication skills with clients
• Competent report writing skills
• Proficiency in Word & Excel
• Ability to pass Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance checks

Our Water Hygiene Team is split into two main areas:
Water Hygiene and Legionella Risk Assessment. Assessors focus on ensuring water systems comply with regulations through tank cleans, disinfections, temperature monitoring, shower descaling, sampling, and TMV servicing.
