Location: Crawley & Surrounding Areas Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time - Flexible Days Daily Rate: £89.05 - £110 Hours: School hours (typically 08:30-15:30)

This Supply Behaviour Support Assistant role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on pupils who need extra guidance, structure and encouragement. Whether you're experienced in behaviour support or looking to build your skills in a rewarding new direction, this flexible role allows you to support children across a variety of school settings.
We're looking for calm, confident and resilient Behaviour Support Assistants to work with pupils in primary and secondary schools across Crawley and the surrounding areas. You'll help children manage their emotions, stay focused in lessons and develop positive behaviour strategies that support their learning and wellbeing.
ResponsibilitiesSupporting pupils with behavioural, emotional or social needs
Helping children stay regulated, engaged and confident throughout the school day
Providing one‑to‑one or small‑group support, depending on pupil needs
Assisting teachers with routines, behaviour plans and classroom activities
Creating a safe, structured and positive environment for learning
Adapting to different schools, age groups and behaviour support approaches
Experience working with children or young people (education, youth work, care, mentoring or similar)
A calm, patient and empathetic approach to behaviour support
Confidence working with pupils who may display challenging behaviour
Strong communication and de‑escalation skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Someone reliable, adaptable and ready to support wherever needed
